As parents, we’re always looking for ways to express our love to our children. In fact, they may get tired of hearing you tell them how much you love them.

Sometimes the words, “I love you,” fall on deaf ears. Try writing them a love note, instead, and see how they respond.
Why Handwritten Love Notes Can Speak Volumes
When was the last time you penned a handwritten note of love, appreciation, and encouragement to one of your kids for no other reason than you were thinking about them? If you’re looking to cultivate and nurture a deeper relationship with your child, I can tell you from experience that writing a note that comes straight from your heart is a quick, effective, and inexpensive way to help accomplish that goal.
Tape this note to a mirror in their bedroom. Lay it on top their pillow, so they can read it before they go to sleep. Slip it inside their homework, so they can discover it while they’re in class. And, as effective as this little exercise is when moms do it, it really grabs our kids’ attention and affection when it comes from dad.
