Godly discipline is something many so-called culture elites might even consider as abuse today, as crazy as that might sound. But when the second leading cause of death among teens is suicide because they claim to have no hope, Proverbs 19:18 is as pertinent today as it has ever been. It says, “Discipline your son, for, in that, there is hope. Don’t be a willing party to his death.”
