Teaching our children to pray is one of the most important actions you can teach them.

A simple bedtime prayer, praying before school, and over our meals is how most of us were brought up. DO you remember the childhood prayer you use to pray? Did you teach it to your kids? Do you still say it?
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep
I can’t overemphasize the importance of praying for and with your kids. Kids are wired for belief in God, so it’s incompetent upon us to nurture and cultivate that intrinsic trait. There is also a sense of security that comes from a child’s faith in God that when properly nurtured does wonders for their emotional health.
There is a reason equating a healthy adult faith with the faith of a child. Praying with our kids not only helps strengthen our faith in God but it strengthens our faith in us as strong and trustworthy parents, worthy of emulating. When we pray with our kids they get to see their earthly authority figures submit to an even greater authority than their parents. An exercise in both faith and humility.
