Walk the Talk

If there’s one thing that will turn our kids away from us and our God, it’s hypocrisy. To the degree to which we can walk what we talk, that will be the degree to which our kids will buy into our biblical view of the world. And this only comes to the degree to which we submit ourselves to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Without a strong relationship with Christ, hypocrisy is universal. As Christian parents, we will take a greater amount of heat in this area simply because we claim a better way over our secular counterparts.

We may be living in a fishbowl, but that’s a good thing. It’s called accountability.
