Solidifying a biblical worldview in our kids requires actually believing and applying the bible.
If our kids are to acquire and sustain a biblical worldview, an imperative for healthy spiritual and emotional health for Christian families, we must read, understand and actually heed what’s written in Scripture.
The Importance of Worldview
This is as true in the realm of parenting as it is in any other realm of life. But the ugly truth is that too many self-proclaimed Christian parents have taken their cues from the secular mental health industry more religiously than God’s word.
Ephesians 4:17 tells us that we “should not do what the Gentiles do.” Romans 12:2 makes a similar proclamation about not “conforming to the patterns of this world, but rather we should be transformed by the renewing of our minds.”
For what it’s worth, I see regular family transformations when they follow these biblical mandates.
