In a society where Christian parents take their moral cues from the Bible, peer pressure can cause them to cave in this culture of media living.

Allowing our kids to have smartphones and play violent video games, does this mean we are caving to peer pressure? Are we forgetting what is wise and morally right in the sight of our kids?
Where Our Values Stand
Last time I said that most parents have caved to social conformity as their number one reason to allow their kids to have their own smartphones and play violent video games, so basically Christian parents are caving to peer pressure. That assumes that today’s Christian parents understand what’s wise and morally right in the first place and that assumes these same Christian parents are taking their moral cues from the same holy spirit inspired source, we call the Bible.
This also assumes parents actually read the Bible and interpret with a pure heart, ones that in league with the holy spirit and right here is where assumptions might break down.
