You may be wondering why your child is losing his or her desire for the church. I can’t speak for all kids but many are just fed up with the shallow and hollow experiences they are having there.

If that is the case, finding a more genuine church group might be the answer. The good news is that this doesn’t necessarily mean that Junior is fed up with God. The bad news is that it very well may mean that Junior is fed up with God. This usually goes hand in hand with a growing fascination with the world.

Without compromising truth, your integrity, or your family’s commitment to corporate worship, find out what’s bothering your teen by having a heart to heart about it. A heart to heart that involves prayer. Then keep praying.
