When your teen is unsure of what to do, does he ask you? Or does he ask his computer?

In the classic film It’s a Wonderful Life, the pharmacist Mr. Gower mistakenly prepares the wrong capsules for a sick customer and demands young George Bailey deliver them.
Ask Dad. He Knows.
In a moral quandary, George sees a sign that reads, “Ask dad. He knows!” He then scurries off to find his dad.
Every teen wants answers, but too often the internet is now their go-to source. It doesn’t lecture or require obedience. But even teens will endure lectures and be more likely to obey when we prove ourselves available, loving, and trustworthy.
So limit the lectures! And if you don’t have an answer, go to the internet with your child and be his truth filter for the answers you find together.
