One way to start protecting our children from this digital culture is to restrict smartphones from being in the palm of their hands.

Why is it so important, in our culture of technology, to protect our children from this digital world? How can we protect our children from the imprints of this digital age?
Protecting Our Children’s Innocence in A Digital World
Imagine what your parenting experience would be like if you owned the latest greatest smartphone, but not only did your kids not own one, but none of their friends or classmates owned one either. Co-creator of the smartphone with Steve Jobs, Tony Fadell says he wakes up at night in cold sweats wondering what have we brought into the world.
With so many parents waking up in cold sweats wondering the same thing, why aren’t more parents petitioning lawmakers to pass legislation to make smartphones illegal for minors. I am calling for all parents to use all their digital platforms and any other means to flood Washington with this petition. So be the little boy in the story of, The Emperor’s New Clothes.
